"Why Not Me?"
Why Not Me? is a modern-day‘ Lean On Me,’ testifying to the transformative power of education and community.
As we witness four girls strive to unlock pathways to success, viewers wonder if these heroines will be able to realize their dreams or succumb to the pressures of their environments. Interweaving heartfelt narratives of dedicated teachers, the documentary explores the challenges and triumphs faced by the students of CGLA. It is about one woman’s journey to inspire a generation about teaching and learning, to re-energize teachers, and to provide students with a safe but challenging environment to grow.
